Inflammatory Bowel Disease Summit 2016 – Optimizing Management of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases’ is one such program specifically designed for gastroenterologists,gastrointestinal surgeons and clinical researchers with an interest in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with IBD.

The program will provide a platform to interact with international experts which will help the participants with useful insights in their day to day clinical practice. The care of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is continuously evolving. There are a number of medications, guidelines and approaches to the treatment. IBD patients are looking to obtain evidence-based, state-of-the-art care. They are seeking novel alternatives to steroids and antibiotics, proactive education to anticipate flare management, and timely treatment should a flare arise. As this is often their only medical problem, they expect health maintenance to be addressed by their sole doctor, the gastroenterologist.
