The program willencompass several topics such as Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy, Novel Imaging EMR, ESD, Stem Cell Therapy, Fecal Transplantation, Stoma Care / Seton Placement, Biosimilars in IBD, Optimising diagnosis and Conventional therapy.

The care of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is continuously evolving. There are a number of medications, guidelines and approaches to the treatment. IBD patients are looking to obtain evidence-based, state-of-the-art care. They are seeking novel alternatives to steroids and antibiotics, proactive education to anticipate flare management, and timely treatment should a flare arise. As this is often their only medical problem, they expect health maintenance to be addressed by their sole doctor, the gastroenterologist.

At the completion of this activity, the participant will have accurate information to communicate risks and benefits, have clinical algorithms to proactively manage the disease, practical advice to navigate complex topics, and important perspectives from surgery.
